Man dies after stabbing at night club

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Baton Rouge police are investigating a stabbing that killed a man outside a local night club.
Capt. Elton Brown Sr. tells The Advocate in a news release the motive for the stabbing that killed 26-year-old Juan Lopez is still unknown.
Brown says officers were called to the Latin Club early Sunday morning.
Lopez was found with multiple stab wounds in the upper part of his body, lying on the ground outside the club.
Witnesses told police that the victim had been attacked by another man during a fight outside the club.
Brown says Lopez died at a local hospital.
