Man Dies After Single Car Accident In Parks

State Police report the death of 30-year-old Guy Blanchard of Breaux Bridge due to a single-car crash.
This afternoon at around 2:15, Troopers responded to Hwy 347 near parks where a single car accident had occurred.
The driver, Guy Blanchard failed to negotiate an upcoming turn and went off the right side of the road. The vehicle then overturned and struck an embankment, at which point Blanchard was ejected.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
