Man dies after Rayville home invasion

RAYVILLE, La. (AP) - Rayville police are investigating a home invasion that left a 24-year-old man dead.
Officers received a call around 8:30 p.m. Sunday concerning a medical emergency with shots fired at an apartment.
Upon arrival, Police Chief Willie L. Robinson Sr. tells The News-Star (http://tnsne.ws/U9STDs ) two masked suspects had entered an apartment with a pistol and fired shots, killing 24-year-old Brandon Johnson.
Robinson says detectives are still developing motives and suspects in the shooting.
