Man dies after fall from moving vehicle

MANSFIELD, La. (AP) - State police say a 36-year-old Converse man died from injuries sustained in a fall from a moving vehicle.
Troopers say William Baldree died at LSU Hospital in Shreveport Tuesday night.
The accident happened on the side of La. Highway 481 south of U.S. Highway 84 between Stanley and Mansfield.
According to investigating troopers, Baldree was the passenger in a truck driven by 37-year-old Joshua W. Fisher and occupied by their sons, ages 10 and 13. They were northbound on Highway 481 when Baldree climbed out of the passenger side window and onto the cap of the truck.
During his attempt to re-enter the moving vehicle, troopers say he slipped and fell off the truck to the roadway.
