A Crowley man who pleaded guilty in May to vehicular homicide in connection with a 2011 fatal crash will be sentenced Monday.
Prosecutors say Tyson Dupuis was drunk behind the wheel on August 12, 2011, when he crashed into a car driven by 18-year-old Michelle Romero. Romero died two days after the crash.
Dupuis faces a jail sentence between five and thirty years. Sentencing guidelines call for at least three years being served before he is eligible for probation or parole.
