Man convicted of rape of 14-year-old

PORT ALLEN, La. (AP) - A West Baton Rouge Parish jury has
convicted a 25-year-old Port Allen man of raping a 14-year-old girl last year.
Assistant District Attorney Scotty Chabert Jr. tells The Advocate Kevan Clouatre was found guilty Wednesday in the March 6, 2010, attack in which he provided an alcoholic beverage to the victim and then raped her.
Chabert said Clouatre's wife was asleep in another room during the assault.
Clouatre faces between 10 and 25 years in prison at sentencing.
A sentencing date has not been set.
