Man charged in overnight deadly crash

A Lafayette man has been arrested in connection with the deadly crash that happened in Lafayette around 1:45 Friday morning. Casey Robertson, 26, is charged with vehicular homicide, OWI, driving under suspension, and disobeying a red signal light.
Police Robertson's truck collided with a car and killed the driver at the intersection of East Kaliste Saloom Rd. and SW Evangeline Thruway. The 61-year-old Alabama man hasn't been identified pending notification of his family.
