LIVINGSTON, La. (AP) A 21-year-old man has been charged with negligent homicide and negligent injury in a Saturday night crash that killed a Baton Rouge woman.

Police say the van driven by 62-year-old Annie V. Clononger was headed west on U.S. 190 when it was struck head on by a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

After impact, the van spun and came to rest in the east lane, and was struck on the driver side by a 2007 Chevrolet pickup.

Police say Clononger was not restrained when the crash occurred and died from injuries at the scene.

The driver charged in the case sustained serious injuries. Alcohol is not suspected to have been a factor in the crash, but police submitted blood samples of all three drivers for testing.
