HOUMA, La. (AP) - Police say a 23-year-old Houma man has been arrested in the Dec. 1 shooting death of 45-year-old Travis Moses.
Houma police tell The Courier the shooting took place when Moses was fighting with another man, police believe to be Ketrelle Andre' Bolden, who shot him at the service station. Moses died of the injuries to his upper body and another person was struck in the arm.
Police said investigation led them to surveillance footage at a nearby business that puts Bolden at the scene. They filed warrants for his arrested on charges of manslaughter and carrying an illegal weapon. Bolden turned himself in Monday.
Police say the shooting was the result of a drug-related dispute.
It was unclear whether Bolden has an attorney.
