Man booked in Calcasieu Parish for aggravated rape, incest

A tip from the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office in Fort Worth, Texas, has led to the arrest of a man who's been booked with 15 counts of aggravated incest and 15 counts of aggravated rape in Calcasieu Parish.

According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, detectives were contacted by investigators from Tarrant County in June 2013 regarding Paul L. Good, 41, of Green Forest, Ark., formerly of Lake Charles.

Good was accused of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old male family member around 2001 while living in Texas.

Through their investigation, Tarrant County investigators discovered that between May 2008 - November 2011, while living in Calcasieu Parish, Good had inappropriate sexual contact with a female family member, who was 5 years old when the sexual assaults began.

Three weeks later, the sheriff's office issued an arrest warrant for Good.

Good, who was incarcerated in Berryville, Ark., on unrelated charges, was extradited Wednesday and booked into the Calcasieu Parish Jail on a $5 million bond.
