Man Arrested in Opelousas Shooting

Eric Winbush Sr. age 54 of Opelousas has been charged with the murder of Alvin Stevens 43 also of Opelousas. The shooting happened just after 11:00 this morning. When for unknown reasons at this time Winbush shot Stevens killing him.
Winbust is charged with The Illegal Carrying of a Firearm in addition to 2nd Degree Murder.
