One man is in jail and another is being sought after an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Breaux Bridge Wednesday night.
Breaux Bridge Police arrested Shadrach John Guidry, 19, of St. Martinville for armed robbery, aggravated second degree battery, criminal trespass, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, and criminal damage to property stemming from an armed robbery that occurred at Walgreen's in Breaux Bridge right before midnight July 17.
Investigators are also attempting to locate Donavan J. Benjamin, 20, of Breaux Bridge for his involvement in the armed robbery.
Officers located Guidry in a vacant residence nearby shortly after the armed robbery occurred with items taken from the robbery. Guidry is currently being held at St. Martin Parish Correctional Center awaiting bond.
If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Benjamin, you are urged to contact Breaux Bridge Police Department at 337-332-2186. Benjamin is considered armed and dangerous.
