Man Arrested for Cockfighting in Lafayette Parish

A man has been arrested for cockfighting in Lafayette Parish. An anonymous tip led deputies to arrest Chad Duhon last night for fighting roosters on Duhon Road.
More than 40 others were detained for watching the fight. Their names will be submitted to the District Attorney for possible charges related to the rooster fights. In al, 40 roosters were seized by animal control. As you may know, cockfighting is illegal in Louisiana.
