Man Arrested for Allegedly Chasing Neighbors with Knife

A Lafayette man is in jail for allegedly running after three of his neighbors while wielding a knife. Mauro Gonzalez is charged with three counts of aggravated assault. Lafayette Parish sheriff's deputies say Gonzalez pulled the knife on his neighbors before chasing them around the Ille Des Cannes neighborhood while brandishing a knife. No motive was given for the chase.
