A 21-year-old man and a juvenile are accused of burglarizing homes in Iberia and Vermilion Parish.
According to a news release from the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office, on July 1, 2013, investigators obtained information concerning the location of stolen property, connected to the burglaries. With assistance from Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Office, investigators searched two separate residences in Iberia Parish, where stolen property was located and recovered, according to the release.
Recovered during the searches was property valued over $25,000. Investigators identified one of the suspects as Justin Bowen (5402 Norris Road) and a second 15-year-old suspect.
Bowen was arrested for two counts of possession of stolen property and he was booked in the Iberia Parish Jail. The juvenile arrested for principal to simple burglary and released to the custody his parent. The investigation remains open at this time and more arrests are likely.
