Man accused of killing ex-wife in Winnfield

WINNFIELD, La. (AP) - Winnfield police have arrested a man in the death of his ex-wife.
Gregory Washington has been booked with second-degree murder. He is accused of killing Jacquelyn Washington after a domestic argument got out of control.
Police say the victim was found shot and stabbed multiple times in her home Wednesday.
Police Lt. Charles Curry says there had been several
domestic-violence charges filed in the past against Gregory
Washington, and he served nine years in prison after attempting to run over his ex-wife with a vehicle.
It was unclear whether Washington had an attorney.
