Man accused of kidnapping woman from casino

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - A 33-year-old man police say kidnapped a woman from a Shreveport casino is behind bars.
Police say the kidnapping occurred around 2 a.m. Wednesday when George Arnold grabbed his ex-girlfriend from behind as she was walking through the casino's parking garage.
The woman told police Arnold forced her into the car and drove out of the parking garage. As the vehicle neared the exit of the garage, police say the woman escaped.
The Times reports Arnold was arrested without incident when he later returned to the scene. He was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on a charge of simple kidnapping.
It was unclear whether Arnold has an attorney.
