Man accused of firing gun at ex-girlfriend, child

A Crowley man is behind bars for allegedly firing his gun at his ex-girlfriend and her child at a bus stop.

Police say 25-year-old Donald Ray Augustus fired this shots Tuesday morning from a car near the bus stop in the Westwood subdivision. According to investigators, Augustus was trying to intimidate his ex and the child. No one was injured in the shooting.

Augustus is charged with illegal discharge of a firearm, domestic abuse battery, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of marijuana.
