Man accused of exposing genitals to elderly woman

Lafayette Parish sheriff's deputies arrested a man they say exposed himself to an elderly woman. Deputies received a call yesterday from a woman in the 400 block of Bradford St. in Carencro after she saw a man pull his pants down and expose his genitals. She saw him as she was looking out one of her windows. "While the resident was reporting the incident to the 911 operator, she peered out a second time to see if the man was still present and again the male reportedly exposed himself," Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Capt. Kip Judice said. Deputies found 45-year-old Rufus Wiggins at a home in the 300 block of Auburn St. and charged him with obscenity.
