Man Accused In Boating Deaths Pleads Not Guilty

NEW ROADS, La. (AP) - A 53-year-old Lafayette man indicted after
a deadly boating crash that killed three people last May has
pleaded not guilty to three counts of vehicular homicide.
WAFB-TV reports Jerry Jordan appeared Tuesday in state district
court in New Roads.
The accident happened on False River in Pointe Coupee Parish.
Twenty-year-old Christopher Austin, 21-year-old Brian Doherty
and 22-year-old Sterling Forbes died when the boat they were in
collided with one driven by Jordan.
