Major construction projects touted at Nicholls

THIBODAUX, La. (AP) - Nicholls State University students will see some major changes when they return to campus next month.
Construction on a new student recreation complex will be well under way.
Meanwhile, numerous renovations have been completed on the campus's Olympic-sized swimming pool.
And the largest classroom building on campus is getting an overhaul, with several hundred thousand dollars in improvements to the building's auditorium.
Nicholls' vice president for facilities, Mike Davis, tells The Daily Comet newspaper that this has been the most significant year of construction on campus that Nicholls has seen in a while.
