The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for two armed men who attacked a mail carrier and stole a large white U.S. Postal bag with U.S. Mail written on it. The mail carriers truck had just arrived at the post office when two suspects, believed to be black males, attacked the driver. "They got into a physical altercation. The suspects were brandishing a small caliber handgun," Capt. Jimmy Darbonne said. The suspects left on foot towards U. S. 190 westbound and got in a white van with another suspect and headed towards Opelousas.
