Lunch policy in Lafayette schools is said to be working

New information on the updated lunch policy in Lafayette schools. Apparently it's working. The school system is now reporting parents to child protective services if their child is without lunch money 3 times. In 3 days since the plan was put in place and no one has been reported to the state so far.

Wednesday, 170 students were served snacks because they didn't have money. Thursday it was 55 students, and Friday only 22.
