SPRINGHILL, La. (AP) - Music, arts and crafts, and an antique tractor display are among the attractions at a northwestern Louisiana fall festival that kicks off for the 28th time this weekend.
The Springhill Lumberjack Festival begins Saturday morning with a parade and the opening of a car, truck and motorcycle show.
Jan Corrales, director of the Louisiana Main Street program in Springhill, tells The Times of Shreveport that the festival includes a "children's corner" and firefighter competitions. Also, country music singer Mark Chestnutt has a Saturday night concert.
