BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Louisiana's Grammy Award nominees are getting a hometown party.
Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne and the state's tourism office are hosting a celebration of this year's local nominees at an event Saturday night called "Only in Louisiana."
The event will be held at a Baton Rouge high school and will feature performances from some of the nominees, including Hot 8 Brass Band, Zachary Richard and Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience.
Eleven Louisiana acts are Grammy nominees this year. The 56th annual Grammy Awards will be held Jan. 26.
