LSU is No. 1 in the final 2012 college baseball attendance rankings, marking the 17th straight season in which the Tigers have led the nation in total attendance.
LSU posted an NCAA-record total attendance figure of 472,391 in 44 games this season in Alex Box Stadium, including 38 regular-season games, three NCAA Regional games and three NCAA Super Regional contests.
The Tigers' total attendance mark was more than 200,000 greater than second-place Arkansas (269,433).
LSU is the only school in NCAA history to exceed 400,000 in baseball attendance. The Tigers also surpassed the 400,000 mark in 2010 with a total attendance figure of 404,916.
LSU was also No. 1 in average attendance for the 16th time in 17 years, recording a figure of 10,736 tickets sold per game.
LSU established a school single-game record for actual attendance last Sunday when 10,620 fans witnessed the Tigers' Super Regional contest versus Stony Brook.
LSU sold over 10,000 tickets for 37 of its 44 games in Alex Box Stadium this season.
