Four LSU-Eunice employees will be charged with multiple counts of forgery and theft after officials discovered they stole an undisclosed amount of money from the school. Officials say Judy Guillory, Shawana Prudhomme, Carra Sergeant, and Dr. Marvette Thomas forged invoices and pocketed the money. LSU-E conducted an internal investigation before turning the findings over to District Attorney Mike Harson, who says the charges will be filed this week. LSU-E officials say the FBI was involved in the investigation because federal funds were involved.
