Enid, OK - The LSU Eunice baseball team (52-5) lost their opening game at the NJCAA World Series by a score of 4-3.
Starting pitcher Brady Wilson (Parkview Baptist) threw 7 2/3 innings, allowing ten hits and one run with two walks and three strikeouts in getting a no decision. Will Bacon (Parkview Baptist) finished the eighth on one walk and one strikeout. Brady Domangue (Vandebilt Catholic) (7-1) suffered the loss, going 1/3 of an inning, allowing two hits and three runs. Patrick Michon (Porter, TX) recorded the final two outs on no hits, two walks, and one strikeout.
At the plate, Stuart Turner (Eunice) went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Landon Thibodeaux went 1-for-2 with a homerun. Adam Angelle tallied the other RBI on a bases loaded walk in the ninth.
The next game for the Bengals will be Tuesday May 29th at 12:00 noon with the opponent to be determined.
