STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Mason Katz homered for the fifth-straight game and Alex Bregman added a three-run blast in the ninth inning to give starter Ryan Eades and the LSU baseball team a 7-3 victory over Mississippi State on Saturday night.
LSU (18-1, 2-0 SEC) clinched the series and will go for the sweep on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. CT at Dudy Noble Field.

Eades (4-0) threw seven innings and allowed one run on six hits with eight strikeouts.
