BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - An open drawer has caused a bit of a concern in the Governor's Office.
The governor's information and technology staff called Louisiana State Police after noticing a piece of computer equipment out of place Monday morning at the Capitol.
A contractor reporting for work saw that a drawer, which contained a computer server, was open. Since the drawers are normally closed, he notified his co-workers of a possible security breach and they called in state police who are responsible for the
State police say detectives took possession of the server and will conduct a forensic analysis of the data.
Authorities say there is no evidence indicating that a breach occurred but an investigation is continuing.
