The Lafayette Parish School System's Talent Program will present "TIME", a multimedia, multi-disciplinary series of events in Downtown Lafayette.
Beginning on February 27th and running through March 9th, Elementary, Middle School, and High School students in the Talent Program have been making time, taking time, and spending time to present words, music and visual works of art that look at "Time" in ways that are personal, creative and original. Students have done all of the writing,
acting, playing, composing, visualizing, designing and fabricating to assemble this collection of works that showcase their unique voices as young artists.
All of the performance events and a large visual arts exhibition will be held at Cite des
Arts, 109 Vine Street, in Downtown Lafayette, right off Jefferson Street. A satellite
visual arts exhibition will also be mounted at the Cajun Spice Gallery at 505 Jefferson
Street. All events are free and open to the public.
