A district judge has dismissed a lawsuit against the Lafayette Parish School System filed by a former principal.
In his suit, Ken Douet accused the system of breach of contract and political retribution after he was not named the principal of the Early Learning Academy in 2011 after the former N. P. Moss Middle School was closed.
LPSS officials say the case was dismissed last week. No word yet on if Douet will appeal the case.
