LPSS votes down budget

The Lafayette School Board does not approve the $409 million budget at their meeting. The board voted 5 to 4 against the budget. "The gang of five" that had been voting along with Superintendent Cooper didn't all agree this time. Tehmi Chaisson switched to the other side, voting against the budget. He says it had nothing to do with the Northside High changes, which he has been critical of. We'll have more at 10:00.
