Proposed changes to the dress code and discipline policy in Lafayette Parish schools will be voted on next week. Instead of expelling students, they would be sent to N.P. Moss Preparatory School, where alternative programs will be held. Also, students might be allowed to wear hooded sweatshirts again. Hoodies have been banned since 2009. A community meeting will be held Tuesday evening at 5:30 at the Vermilion Conference Center. The board votes Wednesday.
