The Lafayette Public School System has recently launched TerrainGiveaway.com to award one school a prize valued at over $25,000. Students and teachers from participating Lafayette parish public high schools submitted funny, creative and unique videos about why their school deserves to win a 2013 GMC Terrain.
Participating Lafayette parish schools include: Comeaux High School, Carencro High School, Northside High School, Early College Academy and David Thibodaux STEM Academy. The public is encouraged to vote once per day for their favorite video. Voting will conclude on March 31st and the school with the highest percentage of votes based on their total population will win. Second and third place winners will receive a scholarship donation.
"This campaign is a great outlet to showcase our incredibly talented teachers and students while also demonstrating to our local community the types of innovations and transformations occurring within the Lafayette Parish School System," said Sandra Billeaudeau, LPSS Assistant Superintendent.
