The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office will hold its annual Leadership and Resiliency Summer Camp June 3rd thru July 19th. The Summer Camp is divided into two grade level sessions. Middle school camps will run from June 3rd - June 7th, July 8th - July 12th, and July 15th - 19th. Middle school camps are open to any incoming 7th and 8th grade student in Lafayette Parish. The high school camp begins on June 17th and concludes on June 28th, and is open to any student attending a high school in the parish. Attendance is limited to 40 students per camp and registration is first come first serve. Registration forms can be completed on the Sheriff's website at www.lafayettesheriff.com.
In addition to a variety of guest speakers, crafts, and activities, students will also participate in a variety of field trips to the movies, bowling alley, rock climbing, and more. All field trips, transportation to and from activities, and meals will be provided free of charge.
