Lowes employee charged with attempted 2nd degree murder

On February 24, 2010, at approximately 8:47 pm, officers with the Lafayette Police Department responded to 120 E. Gloria Switch regarding a disturbance inside of a business. Officers discovered that two employees were involved in a verbal altercation, when one of the employees armed himself with a box cutter. The employee cut the victim, a 21 year old male of Arnaudville, in several locations before the aggression ceased. The victim was transported to an area hospital and treated for his injuries. The suspect, Horace Felix (49) of Crowley was arrested and charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder. The incident remains under investigation.
