Louisiana woman dies in fall from balcony in Orange Beach

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (AP) - ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (AP) - A vacationing Louisiana woman has died after falling from an eighth-floor balcony in Orange Beach.
The Press-Register of Mobile reports it happened early Sunday at Seaside Beach & Racquet Club.
Baldwin County Coroner Stan Vinson told the newspaper that the 24-year-old woman was vacationing with some relatives when she fell to her death about 1:40 a.m.
The coroner said two people saw the woman fall from the side of the resort that faces the Gulf of Mexico, but they did not see what caused her to fall.
The cause of the fall remained under investigation Sunday evening, according to Vinson.
The name of the woman was not immediately released, pending notification of relatives in Louisiana.
