LAFAYETTE - The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns volleyball team prepares for its final road trip of the regular season when it visits ULM on Wednesday at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

Inching closer to its first 20-win season since a school-record 32-win campaign in 1990, Louisiana (17-10, 7-6 SBC) will play its final two road matches of the regular season beginning with ULM (6-23, 2-11 SBC). After facing the Warhawks, the Ragin' Cajuns will travel to face league-leader WKU (22-5, 12-1 SBC) on Friday.
Louisiana swept a pair of matches at home last weekend, defeating Troy and Arkansas State in straight sets. The Ragin' Cajuns averaged .330 at the net in the matches, including a .356 clip against Arkansas State - its best mark in Sun Belt Conference play.
The Ragin' Cajuns enter the week leading the league in service aces per set (1.33) and are third in hitting (.222) and assists (12.14).
Lavinia Tataran leads a balanced Louisiana offensive attack with 2.78 kills per set followed by Tonice White (2.50), Sara Mossakowski (2.41) and Kaylee Nemeth (2.26). Freshman Chanelle Gardner leads the Ragin' Cajuns with a .268 hitting percentage with White next at .256.
Directing the Louisiana offense is Andrea Hole, who is third in the Sun Belt Conference in assists at 10.47. Senior Taylor Meade leads the Sun Belt Conference in aces per set (0.34) with Mossakowski ranked fifth (0.28) and Hole 10th (0.24).
Libero Caitlyn Auxilien leads the Ragin' Cajuns with 4.33 digs per set. She is followed by Hole (2.87), Tataran (2.54), Mossakowski (2.14) and Meade (2.01). At the net, Gardner leads Louisiana in blocks with 85, followed by White (61), Nemeth (49) and Mossakowski (41).
Louisiana holds a 40-19 advantage in the series and has won 11 of the last 14 meetings. The Ragin' Cajuns claimed a straight-set victory over the Warhawks in Lafayette on Oct. 2 as Nemeth recorded a career-high 15 kills and Louisiana fought off an early challenge by the Warhawks to post a 26-24, 25-17, 25-16 contest.
