Louisiana Unemployment Rate Increases Slightly

The nation's jobless rate has hit a 26 year high of 10.2 percent.

Louisiana recorded a slight increase last week in initial claims for unemployment insurance.

The Louisiana Workforce Commission announced today there were more than 4,500 one-time claims for jobless benefits last week.
