A national magazine says Louisiana is the most improved state for business in the U. S. Chief Executive ranked Louisiana as the 13th-best state for business. The Bayou State has moved up 38 spots in the magazine's rankings since 2008. That's the largest gain by any state in the Union. The magazine's rankings are derived from grades a corporate CEOs gave each state in various areas, such as taxes, regulatory environment, workforce quality, and living environment.
