Louisiana HomeCare of Lafayette Earns Joint Commission Reaccreditation

Louisiana HomeCare of Lafayette has received reaccreditation from The Joint Commission, recognizing the agency's continued commitment to quality and safety in home health care. Louisiana HomeCare of Lafayette was granted reaccreditation by undergoing an unannounced on-site survey consisting of surveyors evaluating the agency for compliance with standards of care specific to the needs of patients.
Louisiana HomeCare of Lafayette is part of LHC Group Inc., a national provider of post-acute care services. LHC Group is the only national home health provider pursuing 100 percent Joint Commission accreditation, and more than 95 percent of the company's agencies have achieved accreditation.
