BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Louisiana state offices are closed for the Good Friday holiday.
The break will give staff at the state Capitol and state agencies a long weekend before lawmakers return for their regular legislative session, which begins Monday. It will run for two months, until June 23.
The holiday is authorized in state law.
