Louisiana Financial Aid Webinar

The women legislators through the Louisiana Legislative Women's Caucus Foundation in partnership with the Louisiana Education Loan Authority (Lela) will hold a free "Financial Aid Webinar" for anyone interested in enrolling in college. The webinar will be held this upcoming Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Rep. Karen St. Germain, chairwoman of the Women's Caucus said, "The women legislators are committed to helping all Louisiana citizens achieve their highest potential in academic excellence. In today's economy, the average student will need some level of financial aid to help with the costs of higher education."
With the upcoming deadlines for various scholarships and financial aid, the women legislators are seeking to help parents and students alike with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and with identifying different types of financial aid. The FASFA is used to determine eligibility for loans and grants. Individuals must register to participate in the webinar at:
