At its recent regional meeting in Destin, Florida, the American Society of Engineering Companies of Louisiana selected new officers, members at large and chapter presidents.
E. Hunter Lancaster, III, with S.E. Huey Co., in Monroe, was selected as president. Sergio J. Girau, with Linfield, Hunter & Junius, Inc., in Metairie, is the new president-elect. Other executive committee members include D. Brad Graff, with Cothren, Graff, Smoak Engineering, Inc., in Shreveport, vice president; Tuncer A. "Tony" Arikol, with PECC in Baton Rouge, treasurer; Bob Schmidt, with AECOM in Baton Rouge, secretary; and Anthony J. Mumphrey,
Jr., of TMG Consulting in New Orleans, national director. The national director sits on the ACEC national board and serves as a state representative to the national association.
Members at large include Robert A. Basinger, of BBC Engineering, Inc., in Shreveport; Bruce H. Adams, of URS Corporation in Metairie; J. Ryan Spillers, of Lazenby & Associates in West Monroe; Kurt Evans of Digital Engineering, Inc., in Kenner; Andy Craig, of Mohr & Associates in Shreveport; James P. Ledet, of T. Baker Smith, Inc., in Thibodaux; and Raymond J. Reaux, of
C.H. Fenstermaker & Associates, Inc., in Lafayette.
Chapter presidents include Robert L. Cangelosi, Jr., of SJB Group, LLC, in Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge chapter president; Steven R. Robertson, of John J. Guth Associates, Inc., in Shreveport, Shreveport chapter president; David Dupre, of Meyer Engineers, LTD, in Metairie, New Orleans
chapter president; and R. Craig Campbell, of Associated Design Group, Inc., in Lafayette,
Lafayette chapter president.
The officers, members at large and chapter presidents comprise the board of governors for
ACEC/L.
The American Council of Engineering Companies of Louisiana consists of more than 140
member firms. ACEC/L was founded in 1950 and is a voluntary, non-profit professional
organization serving member engineering companies.
