Local Man Charged in Rape

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office has charged 24-year-old Jared Tabb of Lafayette with one count of Aggravated Rape.
Tabb is accused taking the victim against her will where he raped her while armed with a TASER type instrument.
Tabb is also charged by the Lafayette Police Department with Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Battery all related to this same incident. Bond has not yet been set.
