Ryan Rogers; writer, humorist, and creator of ExboyfriendMaterial.com; recently received critical praise for his blog and publication on HelloGiggles.com.
Created in May 2011, ExboyfriendMaterial.com is composed of creative writing pieces and humorous personal accounts by Rogers. The blog focuses on themes of gay life, modern dating, friendship, and family. Since its creation, the blog has attracted more than 60,000 page views from countries the world over, including the United Kingdom, Malaysia, New Zealand, Germany, and Australia.
In mid-September 2013, Rogers was featured and profiled on HelloGiggles.com, an online community co-founded by TV and film actress, Zooey Deschanel. His essay, "If I Were A Woman," was posted in the Social Studies section of the website here: http://hellogiggles.com/if-i-were-a-woman.
A New Orleans native and longtime resident of Lafayette, Rogers is a multi-award-winning writer with a copywriting credit on four National Telly Awards and several American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards. Now, at the age of 25, Rogers serves as the Associate Creative Director of RUSSO, where he helps develop creative concepts and campaign strategies for brands across the Gulf Coast. He is also a monthly contributor to ProfessionalGal.com.
