A domestic dispute in Youngsville turned deadly Tuesday night when a woman allegedly shot and killed her live-in boyfriend. The incident took place just after 11:30 in the 100 block of Cedar Hills Drive. Investigators say Tammy Romero tried calling 911 during the fight, but the boyfriend, Victor Wirtz, grabbed the phone. Detectives say that's when Romero grabbed a gun and shot Wirtz once. Wirtz was taken to a local hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival. Romero was arrested and is charged with second-degree murder.
