Le Festival De Mardi Gras at Cajun Field has been postponed today until 4 pm Saturday due to severe weather.
The Children's parade will start at 6pm on Monday from the corner of Lafayette & Vermilion Streets (usual starting point). The Queens Parade will also start at 6pm from Pontiac Point downtown (usual starting point for that parade).
Mamou Mardi Gras Saturday bands will be delayed because of the weather, but the street dance wil begin as soon as weather permits. Town officials and band have decided to set up in the Plaza and wait out the storm.
Church Point kid's chicken run is postponed until 1 pm. Line-up will begin at noon.The Youngsville Mardi Gras parade will not roll.
La Grande Boucherie des Cajuns is postponed to a later date. Monday, the city will decide on a date.
The Baldwin parade has been pushed from Saturday to Sunday at 1:00.
Washington Mardi Gras parade is cancelled.
Jefferson Parish officials say Krewe of Isis moved to 7:30 tonight.
Endymion in New Orleans is now planning to roll no earlier than 5:30 p.m.
Alexandria's Children's Parade is cancelled.
In Berwick, Dionysus has been cancelled for today. It will roll twenty minutes after the Galatea parade in Morgan City Sunday.
Church Point will be opening up it's fair grounds and continue on with it's Mardi Gras Celebrations, bands will begin playing at 4:30pm.
