Lighting of St. Martin Square and Christmas Parade Rescheduled

Community event and parade to kick-off the festive holiday season for St. Martinville has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 15, 2013. The festivities were originally scheduled for December 8, 2013, but due to weather conditions was cancelled. There are still spots open to roll in the parade. Vendors on the boulevard open at 8 a.m. St. Martin de Tours Church Square, St. Martinville. Food, arts & crafts, musical entertainment. St. Lucy Lighting of the Square and Christmas on the Boulevard from 8am-till after dusk. Everything from Gumbo, Quilts, Face Painting, Homemade Soaps, Jewelry, Candles, and Hot Chocolate.

Kiwanis Christmas Parade begins at 2 p.m. near St. Martinville Sr. High School down Main Street and ends off Denier Street.
